Sensory Garden Commercial Landscape Transformation

Commercial drought tolerant landscape design

This was my favorite project to work on. I was asked to remove all the grass and convert it to a more useful and eco friendly area. During weeks of collaboration with my coworker that managed the area, we came up with the plan for 4 quadrants reflecting different senses or uses of plants.

So the four areas evolved into plants with unique fragrance or texture, plants that attract bees / butterflies / hummingbirds, edible plants, and native plants.

The biggest challenge of the project was shipping the basalt fountain columns down from Idaho, and then building the fountain and basin. It's hard to remember at this point, but it seems like the whole project took around 6 weeks from start to finish.

We proudly offer our landscaping services throughout all of California. To learn more, please contact us.
